Best Places For Fun + Games in Baton Rouge
In Baton Rouge, when you ask someone to hang out it really means, “Are we eating and drinking at my house, your house, or a restaurant?” But occasionally, it’s nice to get out and do something a little different. Depending on your mood and the weather, all of these options are great ways to get out of the house and try something fun any day of the week. Here’s my suggestions for the most fun things to do in Baton Rouge!

Br.cade (18+)
If you haven’t been to Br.cade on Government Street yet, you’re really missing out. As the name suggests, they are an adult arcade that has a full bar and a rotating selection of all of the classic arcade games we all grew up on. The traditional arcade games are all free to play and they even have high-quality pinball machines that are super cheap to play, but well-worth it. They have a full bar so you can stay hydrated while going for the pac-man high score and the vibe in there feels fun, like you’re in Stranger Things or something. Next time you’re looking for a fun place to go on a Friday night in Baton Rouge, give Br.cade a shot.

Golfsuites
I’m a horrible golfer. What I do enjoy however is being laughed at by my buddies with a bucket of cold beer to make me feel better about my long game. Golfsuites feels like your Grandpa’s favorite driving range and Topgolf had a baby. It’s simple and laid-back, great for solo practice, yet also offers ball tracking and several game-based modes for playing with groups of people. They have solid food, and their beer is as cold as can be in Baton Rouge’s heat. Perfect for dude’s nights, birthday parties or just getting ready for your next round, Golfsuites is a go-to destination for fun & games in Baton Rouge.

Don Carter's All Star Lanes
I feel like Don Carter’s has been around for 300 years. From school field trips to birthday parties, college nights, or just whatever, I feel like I’ve always gone bowling at Don Carter’s a handful of times every year for as long as I can remember. They have a huge number of lanes so there’s almost never a wait. They offer food and a bar too so you can make a whole night of it. Whether you get strikes all night or need to use the bumpers, it’s always a good time. Plus you can try that weird bowling move from the Disney Channel Original movie Alley Cat Strike where they spin the ball and then push it and realize that the movie was not realistic. Go bowl.
