Best Places In Baton Rouge To Eat With Kids.

Let’s just say it. At times, taking young kids to a restaurant will make you question every choice you’ve ever made leading up to that moment. Want to find out what kind of parent you are? Simply go eat dinner. These Baton Rouge restaurants help take the edge off of eating with young kids and even make it enjoyable! With menu items perfect for children and outdoor space for them to run around, these are our go-to “kid restaurants”.

  • Barracuda Taco Stand

Barracuda is my top spot in Baton Rouge for lunch or dinner with the kids. The environment is really laid back and casual, and no one seems to mind if I release multiple gremlins into the courtyard while I eat my tacos and drink my margarita. The cheese quesadillas are always an acceptable meal for the kids, and I have no problem finishing what they don’t eat. A win-win. If you’re looking for a spot to eat with kiddos, give Barracuda a shot. While they do have a good amount of covered seating, it is all open air, so make sure the weather is acting right.

  • Curbside Burgers

Who doesn’t love a good burger? Even better, who doesn’t love letting their kids run around while they eat a good burger? Curbside has a great environment for eating with young children. Inside the restaurant it can be a little noisy, perfect for allowing my creatures to blend-in seamlessly while we “eat”. Their outdoor patio area is what really shines though, one of the best in Baton Rouge! A fairly-large fenced-in patio with plenty of room to run around, dance to live music, and let mom and dad eat.

  • Superior Grill - Highland

While both Baton Rouge locations are kid friendly, the Highland location of Superior Grill has an outdoor area that really makes it great for kids! My daughter loves dancing to the live music they have on the weekends and my son loves eating the rocks. Their margaritas are well known for a reason and their fajitas come out sizzlin’ the way God intended. Perfect for enjoying a great meal with the family, head to Superior on Highland next time you need a family dinner or lunch spot in Baton Rouge.
