Best Asian Food In Baton Rouge
Come on, who doesn’t like Asian food? Salty, tangy, spicy, sweet. I’m in. While Asian can be a pretty broad category, I’ve nailed down the best Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese spots in Baton Rouge. If you’re normally pretty vanilla when it comes to food choice, take a leap of faith and try one of these places. You won’t be disappointed. Here are the best Asian restaurants in Baton Rouge.

Soji: Modern Asian
Soji is a known favorite in the Baton Rouge food space! With a fusion approach to their cooking, they do things a little different by putting a unique spin on a lot of traditional asian dishes. Get at least one order of the chef dumplings, maybe two. The drunken noodles are also a must! They’ve got a really good sushi and raw bar menu, and their cocktails go down a little too easy. Cheers.

Asian Seafood House Restaurant
If you like Chinese food and haven’t been to Asian Seafood House, GO THIS WEEK. It’s the most authentic Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are unreal. The large portion sizes lend themselves to a family-style meal which means you get to try multiple dishes on the menu. The other part, this restaurant has the best Hot Pot experience in Baton Rouge. You order whatever meat and veggies you want and they bring them to your table for you to cook yourself in an interactive dinner experience! There was a 4 month period where my wife and I went every Sunday night. You HAVE to try it.

Chai Thai-Lao (Thai Food)
When I first tried Chai Thai-Lao they had a Peanut Chicken dish on their hot bar. It blew me away. While not being a regular menu item, they’re kind enough to let me order it when I have a craving. Their noodle dishes are really good, and I haven't had a curry I haven’t liked yet. With the kitchen being open to the dining room the atmosphere is really quaint and fun. Perfect for lunches during the work week or easy take out dinners to bring home, Chai Thai-Lao is an incredible restaurant among Baton Rouge’s food scene.

Little Saigon (Vietnamese/Pho)
I’ve enjoyed every dish I’ve had from Little Saigon, but the Pho is what keeps me going back. I’ve tried just about every pho place in the city, but the incredible umami flavor in the broth at Little Saigon is different. The meat is always fresh and tender. And the staff is welcoming and very attentive. If you’re not into pho, you should be. And if you are, head to Little Saigon.
